Stainless steel/ ready-made objects/plaster/absorbent resin/delivery system
dimensions variable
"Feed Pan-dada"(2021), which name comes from a food delivery platform (Foodpanda), was built with ready-made, and plaster molds of hands. During the course of the exhibition of this work, a food delivery person regularly placed beverages on this work. Through the live action of food delivery, the artwork brought into its process the reality of a complex system of social divisions of labor that exist in the modern world.

箱內黑色布幕隨著重複的機械聲上下移動,交互著兩段文字「LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE」 看向光明面,「LOOK THERE’S NO BRIGHT SIDE」這裡沒有光明面。

laser cutting wood / Arduino device /Rosemary plant/product tag

Modern lives stay most times under light.
'' Look on the bright side. '' This motivational sentence is a clue.
The exhibition space is filled with the sound of machinery, the sound of flies hitting the cabinet, and the smell of rosemary.
The black curtains inside the box move up and down with repeated mechanical sounds. The two paragraphs are alternately displaying there. " LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE " " LOOK THERE'S NO BRIGHT SIDE ".
The plant living under the artificial light source comes from a large chain furniture store, where plastic rosemary is also sold. (The price is three times more than the living plant. ) A label that marks it as a plastic object hangs on a pot of rosemary. But it still needs light and water. Moreover, its strong odour could not hide the fact that it is a cheaper living plant.
On the other side, a box that marks the printed word ' inside ' was empty except for flies.

《One square room》2020
water pipe/plywood
dimensions variable
In this work, water pipes act as a transporting transportation medium that connects the space.
The participant can enter the room or stay outside the room to participate.
Although this one-square room constructs an independent personal space, participants can still send messages to the outside through connected pipes, by shaking, blowing, and transmitting sounds, etc. The external information can also be sent into the room through the pipelines. Through the chain reaction caused by the installation, an interesting interactive system is established in the seemingly separated space, to connecting the entire space.

plywood / Arduino device / sound
The diving platform on the border of the fence is a tool to help participants approach and explore the border. There is an Arduino device inside the stairs, and when someone steps on them, they will hear a pre-recorded footstep sound. Combining the functions of sound and diving platform, I invite viewers to experience the tension and sense of crisis behind the serene appearance of the border.
